Cuphead

Cuphead is a run and gun indie video game developed and published by StudioMDHR. The side-scrolling game features hand-drawn animation in the style of a cartoon from the 1930s. Cuphead and Mugman must repay the devil by collecting the contracts from the souls of others.

The game was inspired by early animated cartoons of the 1930s, most notably the work of Fleischer Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios, as well as the video games Contra and Metal Slug.

Cuphead is a side-scrolling run and gun platform game, where players must fight their way through several levels, defeating bosses at the end of each. The game has four levels of difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, and “Cuphead”, which is unlocked after completing the game. 

The player can use two weapons, the Cuphead and the mug, but can only use one at a time. The Cuphead is a standard melee attack, and the mug fires projectiles. By defeating enemies, players earn coins that can be used at shops to buy items that give them advantages.
